Your Host

Hello! My name is Capri Zarowny. I was born and raised in Whitehorse and have made the vibrant community of Dawson City my home since 2009.

I am a member of Soowahlie First Nation as well as a citizen of Champagne & Aishihik First Nations.

Like many in the Yukon communities I have faced challenges with addictions within my family and myself. In 2015, I made the decision to seek help and attended Round Lake Treatment Center. This experience marked a turning point leading to profound changes and growth in my life

I enjoy and benefit significantly from listening to recovery stories through podcasts.

I believe that by sharing these stories we can not only break down the stigmas that often silence us but also inspire hope and demonstrate that recovery is possible in our northern cities and communities.
